Cityhood for East L.A. is a project of the East Los Angeles Residents Association (ELARA), a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization. Our mission is to develop the community’s social, educational, economic and structural resources through advocacy and civic engagement. Please join us for a followup Cityhood volunteer meeting this week -- we're holding a menudo breakfast fundraiser for April 11th and we need your help to plan it! Funds raised will go towards the Comprehensive Fiscal Analysis of East LA, which more than 11,000 East LA residents signed a petition for.
